Apprenticeships

An apprenticeship is a nationally recognised training programme combining real work with learning and training.

As an apprentice, you will:

  • Work alongside experienced staff
  • Gain job-specific skills
  • Earn a wage and get holiday pay
  • Be given time for study related to your role (the equivalent of one day a week)

Apprenticeships are a great way to learn valuable new skills, gain nationally recognised qualifications and take you to the next level in your career.

Apprenticeships enable businesses to have the right people, with the right skills, at the right time. Apprenticeships can take between one and four years to complete depending on the level of apprenticeship, the apprentices' ability and the industry sector.
