Unconditional Places to Full-Time Applicants

Due to the uncertainty around how long the Covid-19 outbreak will last, it has been agreed for the immediate future that we will be offering unconditional places to full-time (not University Level) applicants who apply to SGS College.

Once you apply for your course, you will receive a communication offering you a place.

You just need to accept the offer, if you wish to.

We will then be in touch to discuss the offer once the Covid-19 risk reduces.

Targets will be set and agreed with your tutor throughout the year, and you will receive regular feedback and one-to-one progress reviews with your tutor to ensure that you are on track to achieve your goals.

Maths & English

Learners with a grade 3 in Maths and English are required to retake the qualification, and this will be taught alongside their vocational qualification. Learners with a grade 2 or below in Maths or English will study functional skills alongside their vocational qualification.

Employability

In addition to obtaining a trade qualification and practical experience, learners will also develop other skills, such as interview techniques, CV preparation and digital skills, to prepare them for the world of work. Work Experience
