About the course
Foundation Futures will help you work towards a qualification that aligns your individual Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP) outcomes and Preparing for Adulthood goals. Additionally, the programme supports the development of Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) skills, alongside improving English and maths, designed to enhance your personal skills and independence.
What do I need to join
There are no formal entry requirements; however, it is likely that you will have either an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP) or a MyPlan(+), which will help guide individualised support and learning objectives tailored to your specific needs.
You will have the opportunity to improve your English and maths skills by working towards a suitable qualification at a level appropriate to your needs.
What can I do next
You are encouraged to progress to the next level of study within Foundation Studies, where you can continue to build on key skills, behaviours and knowledge. As part of this progression, you will also have ongoing opportunities to further develop your English and maths skills, ensuring continuous growth in these areas alongside your personal and vocational development.
