Please note this is a fully online course and you will be given access to an online portfolio upon successful completion of the initial assessment process.
All businesses need effective team leaders to ensure their team is happy and motivated within the workplace. Whether you are hoping to progress to a team leading role in the future or want more knowledge about how to progress in a current position, this qualification is the perfect place for you to start.
The course is made up of 8 units:
- Principles of team leading
- Understanding business
- Understanding how to communicate work-related information
- Understanding how to manage performance and conflict in the workplace
- Principles of quality and diversity in the workplace
- Understanding how to develop working relationships with colleagues
- Understanding health and safety procedures in the workplace
- Understanding how to develop and deliver a presentation
How will I learn?
Studying via distance learning means you can choose when and where you study, giving you the freedom to choose your learning schedule yourself whilst still gaining certification for your chosen subject.
We recommend spending a minimum of 2-4 hours per week on this course and we recommend completing within 12 weeks.
We appreciate this may be a new way of learning for many of you or there may be some further support required. If you find yourself feeling less than confident and look for additional support, we want to make sure we are there to offer that little bit extra and tailor it to your needs. Course fees explained
The course fee is usually broken down into three components which are materials (resources required to study the course, for example stationery, books and other equipment), tuition (teaching, classroom etc) and exams. Depending on age, financial circumstances and a number of other factors, you could be asked to pay the full fee or just elements of it. Usually Learners under 19 studying Full-Time courses have just material fees, and if relevant, Academy fees, to pay. Over 19s on Full-Time or Part-Time courses usually have materials, exams and tuition fees to pay.
