How is the course delivered and assessed?
The course is taught in workshops sessions which make up 35 hours of your learning, at our Filton campus. You will be given workbooks, as part of the course, to be able to continue with self-study. Followed by a three-hour exam. During the course, candidates will cover the following of Project management and the operating environment, Project life cycle, Management structures by which projects operate, Project management planning, Scope management, Scheduling and resource management, Risk management and issue management, Project equality management Communication, Leadership and teamwork.
What do I need to join (Entry Requirements)
To join this course, you will need a good standard of Maths and English. Some experience in project management, along with an interest in the subject area, is also required. Before being accepted onto the course, you will need to successfully complete both an interview and an assessment. If you have little experience in project management or are returning to education, we recommend completing the APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ) before progressing to this course, as it will give you the foundation knowledge to build apon.
