Summary
Discover your passion for Fashion! In this course you will learn the principles of pattern cutting based on a simple block pattern. You will learn to alter the pattern for fit and size and learn some essential sewing techniques. We have all the equipment you will need to create your piece and our expert tutors will guide you through the whole process from start to finish so you can go home with all the knowledge you could need! Some pattern cutting and sewing skills are preferred to attend this course, as it isn't suitable for complete beginners.
How will I learn?
In this course you'll learn practical & technical skills required for pattern cutting and construction, through a combination of informative demonstrations and personalised one to one guidance from your tutor.
Entry Requirements
No prior qualifications are necessary to enrol on this course. However, having some sewing experience would be beneficial. Unleash your creativity in the world of pattern cutting. Our tutor will guide you every step of the way, allowing you to develop valuable skills and explore your own unique style.

Course fees explained
The course fee is usually broken down into three components which are materials (resources required to study the course, for example stationery, books and other equipment), tuition (teaching, classroom etc) and exams. Depending on age, financial circumstances and a number of other factors, you could be asked to pay the full fee or just elements of it. Usually Learners under 19 studying Full-Time courses have just material fees, and if relevant, Academy fees, to pay. Over 19s on Full-Time or Part-Time courses usually have materials, exams and tuition fees to pay.
