Covid Update

On Tuesday 29 March, the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Sajid Javid, set out the next steps for living with COVID-19 in England from Friday 1 April.

Updated guidance advises:

  • Adults with the symptoms of a respiratory infection, and who have a high temperature or feel unwell, should try to stay at home and avoid contact with other people until they feel well enough to resume normal activities and no longer have a high temperature.
  • Children and young people who are unwell and have a high temperature should stay at home and avoid contact with other people. They can return to college when they no longer have a high temperature, and are well enough to attend.
  • Adults with a positive COVID-19 test result should try to stay at home and avoid contact with other people for 5 days, which is when they are most infectious. For children and young people aged 18 and under, the advice is 3 days.

For education and childcare settings from Friday 1 April:

  • Regular asymptomatic testing is no longer recommended in any education or childcare setting, including in SEND, alternative provision and children’s social care settings. Therefore, we will no longer be able to order test kits .

This qualification is ideal for anyone with an interest in the responsibilities and tasks involved in a business administration role. By exploring the principles of supporting events, project management and changes within a business environment you will develop a competitive and impressive knowledge about this sector which can help you start a new career or progress within a current role.

Gain a nationally recognised qualification while enhancing both personal skills and professional development. The programme is delivered via distance learning, allowing learners to choose where and when to study. A personal tutor is assigned to each learner to ensure they have the necessary support needed to be successful.

Studying via distance learning means you can choose when and where you study. Giving you the freedom to choose your learning schedule yourself whilst still gaining certification from your chosen subject.

Entry Requirements

Please note you may only enrol on one course at a time, however you may enrol on additional courses upon completion of your current course.

From January 2024 there will be a fee of £100 for this course unless you qualify for a low-income fee waiver.

To qualify for a fee waiver and to meet the funding requirements of this course:

  • You must be aged 19 years or over as of 31/08/2023
  • You must have lived in the EU for the last three years
  • You must currently reside in England
  • You should earn below the income threshold for your funding region. Please follow the finance option key on the main online learning page for Low Waged programme.
  • Please note If you are aged 19-23 and do not already hold a Full Level 2 Qualification we will need to discuss options with you prior to commencing your course.

You will need to understand that:

  • This is a Level 2 qualification and a reasonable level of English is beneficial to completing.
  • The typical duration of this course is 12 weeks and self-commitment should be made to allow yourself time to provide detailed responses to the assignments.
  • We recommend spending a minimum of 2-4 hours per week on this course
