Summary
Join our 10 week online embroidery class and discover the world of thread and needle magic. From foundational stitches to intricate designs, you'll learn to create beautiful, handcrafted pieces while developing your embroidery skills. With expert guidance and a supportive community of fellow enthusiasts, you'll be stitching your way to creativity and craftsmanship in no time. You will have the opportunity to explore: · A thorough grounding of basic stitches, as well as some experimental stitches - and the ability to continue unaided. · Skills to develop your own original designs and stitches. · Swatch design. · Awareness of colour and pattern. · Creative tips to expand your creative universe.
How will I learn?
Teaching will be delivered through a series of online workshops (via Microsoft Teams) and You will learn by observing demonstrations, group discussions, and by exploring new techniques with expert support. You will learn a great deal by experimenting and recording your own progress. Your tutor will always check your progress and help you with technical solutions.
Entry Requirements
There are no specific entry requirements for this workshop series, students just need a willingness to learn and an interest in the subject. Student will also need access to a computer and the internet is required to participate in the online workshops.

Course fees explained
The course fee is usually broken down into three components which are materials (resources required to study the course, for example stationery, books and other equipment), tuition (teaching, classroom etc) and exams. Depending on age, financial circumstances and a number of other factors, you could be asked to pay the full fee or just elements of it. Usually Learners under 19 studying Full-Time courses have just material fees, and if relevant, Academy fees, to pay. Over 19s on Full-Time or Part-Time courses usually have materials, exams and tuition fees to pay.
