The FdSc Computer Games Design and Development, is an exciting new addition to our curriculum offer. This new innovative foundation degree, is equivalent to the first two years of a full degree and will teach students computer vision, image processing, graphics and visualisation. Students will be taught practical skills in high specification facilities, such as our VR Laboratory.

Bringing a product to market
The course is built around a variety of different teaching and learning contexts. These include taught workshops, independent studio/workshop activities, work-based environments, blended learning environments, seminars, tutorial and lectures. Each context will encourage students to adapt to new situations an prepare them for future learning and employment opportunities
On completion of this foundation degree, students will have the option to apply for a top-up year at our partner university The University of Gloucestershire, or to another university of their choice.
Entry Requirements
Students have to be aged 18 or over 64 UCAS points (from new tariff) Maths and English GCSE at grade C or above.
Mature students are welcome to apply and will be assessed on an individual basis.
