Italian Year 2 Term 2 Stroud Campus
Part time course
This course is a follow on from our Year 1 course and is for anyone who is interested in learning for travel or just for pleasure.
Year 2 Term 1: Describing work habits and hours and daily routine. Talking about Italian style (lifestyle). Festivals and special public holidays.
During Year 2 Term 2, you will continue from Year 2 Term 1, increasing your vocabulary. This will include:
· Describing one’s look.
· Travelling to Italy
· Shopping in Italy.
· Talking about the past: memories and habits, childhood
· History of Italy.
You will use:
· Past sentences and Imperfect tense
· Pronouns combined
· Use and traditional
Year 2 Term 3: Talking about your job. Communicating your desires and intentions for the future. Expressing conditions (se... / if ...). Making friends and telling stories.
How will the course be delivered?
Our Year 2 course consolidates learning from Year 1 and introduces more challenging vocabulary, tenses and grammar. The classes are vibrant and interactive. You will work in pairs and groups with plenty of conversation covering different topics.
How will I know how I am doing?
There is no formal assessment but your tutor will give lots of supportive feedback on your progress.
Is previous experience necessary?
Yes. This course is aimed at learners who have completed our Year 1 course or learners who have lived in Italy for at least 6 months and can comfortably use Italian in the present tense. If you are unsure if you have the necessary experience please get in touch and our Italian tutor will advise you before enrolling.
Do I receive a qualification?
There is no qualification.
What should I bring to my first class?
Please bring a pen, paper and a folder for your hand-outs.
How do I apply?
