AAT is the UK's leading qualification and membership body for accounting and finance staff; it has over 125,000 members in more than 90 countries worldwide. AAT qualifications provide accounting technician status. Accounting technicians work at all levels of finance, from accounts clerks to finance directors.

How will the course be delivered
Learning will take place mainly in a classroom environment with the opportunity to use case studies and work-based evidence. Computer-based testing is used for assessment of 5 units, with mock exams taking place during classroom sessions. Final exams will be held at dates and times to be advised at the start of your course. The sixth unit is an independent written project.
Is previous experience is necessary?
Candidates will need to have successfully achieved the AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting prior to enrolling, and also require a level 2 in Maths & English (A to C Grade GCSE or equivalent). All candidates also have to complete an assessment/interview prior to joining a Level 4 AAT course. Please visit one of our AAT Open Evenings which are held at various times throughout the year
What can I do next?
Successful completion of the AAT Level 4 Diploma will allow progression on to Chartered Accountancy programmes such as ACCA or CIMA.
Are there any extra costs?
You will need to register with the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) plus annual student membership. All exam fees (single attempt) and textbooks are included in the cost of your course
