CIPS Level 4 L4-D4 Negotiating & Contracting Relationships in Purchasing & Supply

CIPS are the leading body representing the field of purchasing and supply chain management. Established in 1932, they have grown to become the central reference for industry best practice, with their code of conduct being the standard around the world. In 1992 they were awarded a Royal Charter in recognition of their status as a centre of excellence and support for the profession.
We have successfully offered the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) qualifications for fifteen years and have been awarded the Centre of Excellence accolade for the last 7 years.
What will I learn?
The Level 4 Diploma consists of five compulsory modules; Contexts of Procurement & Supply, Business Needs in procurement & Supply, Sourcing in Procurement & Supply, Negotiating & Contracting in Procurement & Supply and Managing Contracts & Relationships in Procurement & Supply. Modules are studied on an individual basis followed by examination.
How will I learn?
Assessment for each module is carried out through examination. Each module includes 35 hours of lectures, CIPS also recommend 80 hours of self study per module with the course book and materials provided for each module. Classroom session include a range of taught session, group work, activities and group discussions.
What are the entry requirements?
Students need to be a registered student member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS). Candidates should have at least two A-levels or equivalent. Students without any prior qualifications must have at least two years' experience in a business environment. What else do I need to know?
It is the student's responsibility to arrange and book the relevant examination direct through CIPS; enrolment/booking forms are available from www.cips.org. Each day part time module runs for 5 weeks at SGS Filton Campus. Modules run from 1pm - 9pm on a Thursday afternoon and evening and are followed by CIPS exam.
Each block release module runs for 5 days (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Monday, Tuesday) at SGS Stroud Campus. Modules run from 9am – 5pm and are followed by a CIPS exam.

Progression onto the CIPS Advanced Diploma in Procurement & Supply Level 5.
