How will I learn?

This class-based course requires your presence for one inspiring day (6 hours) per week, complemented by approximately 3 hours of self-study, over 37 weeks. Say goodbye to coursework, as you'll demonstrate your learning through five electronic exams spread throughout the year. Prepare to excel in real-life accounting scenarios as you delve into a diverse range of practical topics. Learn to prepare accurate accounts and VAT returns for sole traders and partnerships. Acquire the skills to create effective management accounts that drive business performance. Gain a deep understanding of the ethical standards required in the accounting profession. And unlock the power of Excel to create comprehensive accounts and reports.

Entry Requirements

A Level 2 qualification in Maths & English (A to C Grade GCSE or equivalent) and a solid foundation of general education is recommended. Additionally, prior completion of the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting or Bookkeeping is typically required, but we also welcome individuals with relevant industry experience Enrolment involves a successful interview and assessment, ensuring the right fit for your aspirations. Don't worry if you lack previous accounting experience; this course is open to all, and any accounting or business background will be advantageous. Join the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) by registering at a cost of £225 and enjoy the benefits of professional membership. Exam fees (single attempt) are included in the course cost, while textbooks can be purchased at a discounted price from Osborne Books.
