SGS is pleased to have teamed up with First Bus to provide discounted termly travel in Bristol via their 'Tickets App', making it cheaper to get to College. First buses stop just a short walk away from all campuses with 5 services to WISE, 8 services to Queens Road, 3 services to Filton, and service 8, which stops right outside the entrance to the Clifton Campus.
With the First Bus termly mTickets, not only do learners get travel to college, but the ticket allows unlimited travel at the evenings and weekends too!
Full details of pricing, downloading the App, routes etc. can be viewed at www.firstgroup.com/sgs.
North Somerset Council has also subsidised student fares on the X10 service from Clevedon and Portishead to our Filton campuses. Timetable and pricing information below.
WESTlink is a new type of bus service that operates in the vast majority of the West of England, outside of Bristol and Bath city centres. It runs without a fixed timetable or route and is booked 'on demand' by users through the WESTlink app or by phone. Passengers can get on or off at existing bus stops (over 1,800) as well as at a number of easy-to-reach places and then connect to major bus and rail services.
For further details on how to access this service, please visit travelwest.info.
SGS learners will need to buy either an Adult single ticket, which is currently capped at £2; or one of our U19 tickets - details can be found here: Young person tickets | Stagecoach.
Stagecoach no longer offers discounted ticket ranges for College learners.
SGS College will be operating a subsidised bus service for those living in BS15 and BS16 postcodes. For more information, please view our subsidised bus page.
