This course prepares you for a role as an Associate Project Manager, found in organisations of all sizes across public, private, and third sectors such as government, retail, infrastructure, education, and banking. Associate Project Managers contribute to the successful delivery of projects by identifying, resourcing, scheduling, and monitoring activities to achieve project goals. They work in various environments, including offices, client sites, and remotely.

Daily interactions involve internal stakeholders (IT, Legal, Finance, HR) and external stakeholders (customers, suppliers, auditors). Reporting to a Project Manager, they help define and deliver project aspects, draft business cases, negotiate tasks, monitor progress, ensure quality, and adapt plans as needed. They adhere to legal and ethical standards, focusing on inclusion and sustainability. Working within budgets and resources, they escalate issues when necessary, incorporate lessons learned, and support overall project aims in line with customer requirements.

Maths & english
This apprenticeship requires learners to achieve maths and English at Level 2. At interview, we will carry out an assessment to determine current literacy and numeracy levels. We will take account of any support needs in determining the suitability of learners for this apprenticeship.
