The Boxing
Academy

DiSE Boxing at South Gloucestershire and Stroud College works with the brightest talents from boxing clubs in the South West, at SGS College we have a proven pathway to being successful and we are the first step on the England Boxing Talent programme.

We cater for aspiring and elite boxers aged between 16 and 19 to train full-time in boxing while attaining educational qualifications from the many courses on offer at SGS College.

Our Boxing students partake in the Diploma in Sporting Excellence (DiSE) programme, which is directed at young, talented athletes with the potential to box at the highest level.

We are one of seven education Centres around the country that work directly with the Amateur Boxing Association of England to deliver the DiSE programme, where students can earn boxing development qualifications in a self-reflective syllabus as a conduit to areas such as high- performance boxing training, sports science, sports development, sports administration and elite coaching.
