ELEV8 is the progression support service provided by South Gloucestershire and Stroud College (SGS). We work with adult learners to help them achieve their next steps, whether that's progressing into employment, further courses, voluntary placements, or building their skills and confidence.

How ELEV8 Works

ELEV8 supports learners from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities. Learners can be referred by referral providers, tutors or support staff, or they can self-refer through our website. Our approach is person-centred, flexible, and tailored to individual goals.

We offer support in areas including:

CV writing and interview preparation
Job searching and applications
Exploring further courses and career pathways
Building employability skills and confidence
Accessing voluntary and work placement options

Who Can Join

ELEV8 supports adults age 19+ who:

Are currently studying at SGS College and want progression support.
Are outside the college, seeking help to explore courses at SGS, find employment, or build skills.
Want practical, friendly support to develop employability or explore options for their next steps.
