Embark on a captivating journey into the world of printing with our
introductory course. Discover the art of printing onto paper in a fine
art and design context. This course is designed to familiarise students with the
equipment and materials used in the process.
You'll learn some of the many different types of Printmaking including monoprint, lino, screen printing, dry point & more. You will get to use printing presses and plates under the guidance of your very experienced tutor creating several pieces of art you can cherish!
This course will allow you to learn about the different types of printing, inks and techniques giving you a hands on introduction to all things print.

The course fee is usually broken down into three components which are materials (resources required to study the course, for example stationery, books and other equipment), tuition (teaching, classroom etc) and exams. Depending on age, financial circumstances and a number of other factors, you could be asked to pay the full fee or just elements of it. Usually Learners under 19 studying Full-Time courses have just material fees, and if relevant, Academy fees, to pay. Over 19s on Full-Time or Part-Time courses usually have materials, exams and tuition fees to pay.
