Kitchen Technician
Role Information:

Location: Stroud
FTE Salary: Up to £21,768.00 (Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience)
Actual Salary: £4,650.81
Contract Type: Permanent, Part-Time
Working Hours: 10 hours per week (over 4-5 days), 36 weeks per year

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Setting up and monitoring checklists to ensure all statutory standards are met
- Supporting the completion of weekly food orders
- Keeping general items topped up, eg washing up liquid and cling film ordered
- Keeping knives sharpened
- Rotation of ingredients stock
- Management of the store cupboard
- Termly deep clean of kitchen
- Overseeing washing of cloths and aprons
- Overseeing work stations are clean and tidy
- Managing hygiene practices for the kitchen
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
- GCSE Maths and English grade C or above
- Food hygiene certificate L2 or above, or willing to work towards
- Experience of working in a café or commercial kitchen
- Understanding the needs of learners with SEND
