Job Reference 1748907Apprentice Assistant Book-keeperWe provide book-keeping & payroll services to a number of clients in the local area and beyond, all with a wide range of professions. We are a small team, so it’s a wide & varied role, but your main duties will involve day-to-day book-keeping for various clients, along with other admin related tasks.

Apprenticeship Summary

The role is to support the company through the accurate and timely preparation of client’s VAT Returns, year-end accounts or general day-to-day book-keeping.  There will also be additional admin related tasks to help out with.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake standard accounts payable & receivable work (processing invoices)
  • Assist in statutory accounts preparation
  • Assist in external reporting requirements (monthly/quarterly/annually)
  • Support in the production of ad-hoc reports and information provision to meet business requirements

Desired skills

Upon successful completion of your apprenticeship, we will aim to move you into a more senior role with your own client base.

Our Apprenticeship programmes are designed around a mix of on-the-job training and off the job learning including day release to college.

You will be assigned a supervisor/mentor within the workplace, who will support you to development your workplace skills, knowledge and experience throughout the duration of your apprenticeship programme.
