SGS Berkeley Green: for learners aged 14+ with a passion for Science, Engineering, Construction and Digital Technologies
Our new campus, which opened to learners in September 2017, offers some of the best training facilities in the country for the Built Environment, Welding, Engineering and Digital Technologies. SGS College has invested in a new £5million Engineering Centre (known as GREEN) that will respond to the regional growth in engineering and nuclear and will deliver full and part- time training to learners from the age of 16 including apprenticeships, adult re-training programmes and degree level learning.
What can I study at Berkeley Green?
A range of Full-time study programmes started at our Berkeley GREEN Campus in September 2017.
The best way to find out what is on offer is to come and visit us at one of our Open events. We have plenty of open days, as well as general advice and guidance sessions throughout the year.

There are free buses run from Stroud, Gloucester, Filton and Cam and Dursley. Please visit our travel page to find out how to get here by bus and by car.

Alongside the College's new Engineering Centre is a new University Technical College (UTC) that is sponsored by SGS College. The UTC will give a unique opportunity for students aged between 14 and 18. It will provide a high standard of education as required by the National Curriculum. In addition it will develop the talents of students in one of five specialisms; Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing, Digital Technologies, Cyber Security and Applied Science (Sport).
