Summary

This course prepares you for a role as a Facilities Management Supervisor, a position found in a variety of sectors including housing, health, social care, energy, hospitality, education, and retail. The primary objective is to manage a team to ensure a safe, efficient working environment by overseeing both hard services (estate and building management) and soft services (catering, cleaning, administration, and security). You will be responsible for meeting key performance indicators, adhering to health and safety regulations, and maintaining high standards of service. Effective communication and analytical skills are essential for resolving customer queries and improving service processes. You will collaborate with internal teams, such as senior leadership, procurement, and HR, as well as external stakeholders like suppliers and contractors. Additionally, you will contribute to sustainability efforts and ensure compliance with governance standards, all while supporting the development and wellbeing of your team.

Maths & english
This apprenticeship requires learners to achieve maths and English at Level 2. At interview, we will carry out an assessment to determine current literacy and numeracy levels. We will take account of any support needs in determining the suitability of learners for this apprenticeship.
