Apprenticeship Summary

To assist our full-time administrator with various admin tasks to include

  • Data entry
  • Responding to incoming calls emails and online requests from customers and external stakeholders wishing t donate us items of furniture or appliances
  • Dealing with customers’ orders for our contract with Bristol City Council where we supply white goods to people on low incomes, accurately recording details and arranging delivery of items to customers via the telephone
  • Filing
  • Supporting all day to day administration duties and processes
  • Scanning of important documents so an understanding of GDPR is crucial
  • Liaising between teams within the organisation

Things to consider

  • We are based on West street, Old Market so a busy part of Bristol.
  • Sometimes our customers can be challenging to deal with as they don't always have a good understanding of the organisation, so it is important to not take anything too personally and to have a calm approach.  Also, we have customers who don't have English as their first language so it is very important to be patient and understanding.
