Chosen DiSE National Training Provider
SGS is the Chosen National Training Provider for the Diploma in Sporting Excellence (DiSE)
The DiSE team at SGS are delighted to announce they remain the chosen national education training provider to support the following National Governing Bodies (NGB's) to manage, oversee delivery and quality assure this exciting and inspirational educational programme for elite and potentially elite athletes: British Wheelchair Basketball, Basketball England, England Boxing, British Judo, British Fencing, Table Tennis England, RFU and British Cycling.
NGB's nominate DiSE places to talented and committed young athletes on their performance/talent pathway who have realistic potential to be high achievers in their sport. Each NGB has their own application and allocation process.
DiSE is Funded by the Department for Education (DfE) through Sport England/SportsAid as a dual career pathway. DiSE is completed alongside another full-time main study education programme such as A levels or other vocational qualifications. It is an elite, full time Level 3 education programme for 16-19 year olds and awarded 64 UCAS points. The programme is delivered by highly qualified and experienced NGB approved coaches. Delivery sites, options and methods vary.
DiSE places are allocated annually and are limited and very competitive.
