The UAL Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Visual Arts is a qualification for post-16 students studying within the sixth form environment who have an interest in the visual arts and who would like to develop their skills, knowledge and understanding in this area.
Students are introduced to the breadth and diversity of specialisms within visual arts (e.g. fine art, graphics, fashion and textiles, photography and craft) on this qualification, providing them with the opportunity to experiment and discover areas of interest for further investigation and development. This qualification is designed to provide students with the relevant skills, knowledge and understanding to progress into further and higher education courses and/or into training or employment within the creative sector.
