A content creator develops and creates written and audio-visual content for various platforms and media, including social media, broadcast, and print. It is a role that can be found in both creative and non-creative industries. This can be in any business creating content to engage with its audience.
Their role involves researching, preparing, and developing messages to engage audiences while adhering to legal, regulatory, and ethical guidelines. They must deliver high quality content on time and on budget, and stay updated with new technologies and trends.
To ensure apprentices meet the maths and English Level 2 requirements, we provide Functional Skills lessons, offered alongside their apprenticeship, to those who have not achieved a level 2 or equivalent.
At the interview, we assess current literacy and numeracy levels to determine suitability and any support needs.
Learners over the age of 19 at the time of enrolment are not required to complete Functional Skills but will be supported to should they wish.
Following the completion of your apprenticeship you would be eligible to apply for a role as; Content Creator, Content Producer, Junior Content Producer, Multimedia Executive, Social-Media Co-ordinator/Executive.
Apprentices will learn to plan and create content in line with briefs and budgets, develop written, visual, and audio content for various media, and store content securely. They'll work on collaborating with colleagues and clients, managing content online, and evaluating its effectiveness.
The apprenticeship also focuses on continuous development to keep up-to-date with trends and technologies in the field.
