Academic Subject Content:
Our Access to Health and Social Care program offers comprehensive coverage of Biology, Sociology, and Psychology, allowing students to earn 45 credits graded at pass, merit, or distinction. This in-depth study ensures a solid foundation in these essential academic subjects helping to prepare for moving on to University.

Study Skills:
We equip students with essential study skills, providing 15 credits dedicated to enhancing academic performance throughout the year. These skills are crucial for successfully completing assignments and excelling in your studies.

The course includes varied assessments including academic essays, tests/exams, reports, and presentations. This variety ensures that students can demonstrate their knowledge and skills in multiple formats, preparing them for various academic challenges.

What do I need to join
  • Essential: GCSE English Language - C/4 or above or international equivalent. Functional Skills Level 2 may also be considered please discuss at application stage.
  • Essential: GCSE Maths – C/4 or above or international equivalent. Functional Skills Level 2 may also be considered please discuss at application stage.
