WelcomeFEST

At SGS College, we make sure your first days set you up for success with WelcomeFEST — our fun, engaging induction programme for all new learners. WelcomeFEST helps you settle into college life, meet new people and find your way around, while introducing you to the support, services and opportunities available to you.

Through team-building activities, campus tours, information sessions, freshers’ events and course introductions, you’ll feel welcomed and prepared for your journey ahead. WelcomeFEST is your first step into the vibrant SGS community, designed to help you start with confidence and make the most of your time here.

Taking place at the beginning of September, activities include rock climbing, axe throwing, side stalls and crazy golf to name but a few! WelcomeFEST also includes a range of course specific activities that aim to induct you to your course and give you all of the essential information required for you to succeed at SGS College.

We can’t wait to welcome you on-site in September!

Freshers’ Fayre

Our Freshers’ Fayre also forms part of the WelcomeFEST celebration at SGS College. The Freshers’ Fayre takes place across multiple campuses during the first two weeks of term.

The Freshers’ Fayre provides an opportunity for you to find out more information, advice and guidance about college life, society, employment and the services that are available to you locally.

Students will also have the opportunity to sign up to various clubs and societies through the Freshers’ Fayre, alongside getting the opportunity to pick up lots of freebies and get involved in fun activities.

Our Freshers’ Fayre is the perfect opportunity to socialise with your new peers and find out more about potential future prospects.
