SGSPLUS+

SGSPLUS+ is the name for Personal and Social Development at SGS, including Tutorials, Enrichment, Learner Voice and Learner Experience. SGSPLUS+ aims to ensure you develop your skills in communication, teamwork, resilience, problem-solving, independent thinking and creativity, preparing you for your next steps and giving you lifelong memories from your time at SGS.

These skills will support your future studies, career aspirations and job prospects, all of which are deemed highly desirable by employers. As a student at SGS College, you will complete a fully comprehensive enrichment programme, alongside 36 hours of Tutorials and 34 hours of Enrichment, all centered around the SGSPLUS+ Framework!

Our Aims and Objectives

The programme achieves this through five core aims:

To ensure learners have all of the information required to keep them safe whilst studying at SGS.
To holistically develop students in line with the SGSPLUS+ Framework.
To ensure that learners are prepared and able to step into society once they leave SGS College.
To ensure that learners have the employability skills required to succeed post-SGS College.
For learners to look back at their time at SGS with fond and enjoyable memories.
