Overview

At SGS College, our Enrichment Programme gives learners the chance to explore new interests, build valuable skills and make lasting memories alongside their studies. With a mix of course-related activities, trips, guest speakers, academies and community events, enrichment supports personal and social development while enhancing employability and wellbeing.

Learners can get involved in cultural celebrations, charity work, sports, creative projects and much more, all designed to help them grow as confident, independent and active members of society. Enrichment at SGS is your opportunity to go beyond the classroom and make the most of college life.

SGS College has a wide range of events that take place throughout the year. We kick off the academic year with Freshers’ Fayre which takes place at Filton, WISE, and Stroud. This is a great opportunity for you to meet various local and national organisations offering information, advice and guidance, including sexual health services, youth support, mental health, leisure services, local council representatives and local PCSOs. See below for some additional experiences that we know you will love!
