About the course

This is a two-year GCSE course and is a good start point for those that have not studied the GCSE curriculum before or have no previous qualifications. It is an alternative to Level 1/2 vocational courses and focuses on academic GCSE subjects, including English, maths and science. It is a good option for those hoping to go onto A-Levels or L3 study in future. The course is delivered by a team of friendly and supportive teaching staff.

The course is aimed at 16- and 17-year-olds, who do not yet have grades 3+ at GCSE, and 14–16-year-olds that have elected to home educate and are eligible to apply to college.

A one-year option is also available for those age 15+. Please see the website for further information: GCSE Plus (All Subjects).

Please email [email protected], before applying as a pre-16 and view the 14-16 section on our website: Early College Placement Schools.

This course is delivered at the Stroud Campus. If you are interested in the Filton Campus, please visit GCSE Plus (Filton).
