Summary

This course is tailored for dedicated students eager to deepen their exploration of stained glass. Develop your craft skills, try out new techniques and work on individual projects. This is a really great opportunity for you to develop a programme of study that suits your needs and to work alongside other enthusiastic and productive students. You can develop all your design and fabrication skills for leading or copper foil work, as well as experiment with fusing, kiln-fired glass paint/stain/enamels. There is a wonderful range of beautiful glass for you to use on your course, as well as lead, solder, glass paints/stains/enamels, fusing glass and sundries.

How will I learn?

You can negotiate your programme of study at the beginning of the course and the tutor will deliver appropriate demonstrations to suit the group and individual needs. There is time to experiment and make tests before applying what you have learnt to a specific project of your choice. The tutor will help you and check your work to make sure you are progressing well. There will be one-to-one feedback and group appreciation.

Previous work

Entry Requirements

It is beneficial to have at least three terms of previous experience in stained glass or at least one term of stained glass. Additional Information

Your fee includes the finest materials to make test samples and a leaded panel up to A3 size, or equivalent fusing materials. If you want to make larger work, This will be charged as an extra cost.
