About the course

The Intermediate Jewellery course is designed to help students further develop their knowledge and skills in jewellery making. Students have the freedom to choose their own projects while receiving guidance from the tutor. The course structure allows for individual and group instruction, enabling students to enhance their skills based on their own design requirements. The course offers opportunities to explore advanced techniques like claw settings, press forming, casting, enamelling, and the incorporation of non-traditional materials.

How is the course delivered and assessed?
In this course, students will learn through a combination of individual and group instruction. The tutor will provide guidance and teach skills based on the needs of each student. Students will have the opportunity to work on their own designs and jewellery pieces with support and guidance from the tutor. Advanced techniques will be introduced and explored, allowing students to expand their repertoire and experiment with new methods. The course encourages creativity and self-expression while providing the necessary technical skills to bring the designs to life.
