A key requirement for future progression and employment is a good understanding and application of knowledge and skills in both English and Maths.
Learners who are enrolled on this course that do not possess a grade 4 in English or Maths will also, as part of their overall programme of study, be enrolled on a GCSE English and/or Maths programme in order to progress towards gaining a GCSE grade 4 in both subjects.
This course is a suitable entry point for all learners with an interest in this subject area. We welcome applications from pre-16 applicants, EHE (Elective Home Education) applicants, and those who possess GCSE grades at predominantly grades 1 or 2.
As well as being able to show interest and passion in the subject, learners will need to be committed, punctual and demonstrate an enthusiasm for learning and taking on new ideas and skills.
