About the course

This two-day course is designed for beginners with basic computer skills who are interested in learning how to create vector art—whether for personal projects or business use. Throughout the course, you'll follow a series of guided tutorials to explore Illustrator’s core tools and features. You'll then apply what you've learned to a self-directed project: designing your own poster. At the end of the course, we’ll print your final design using our inkjet printer, so you can take home a professional-quality version of your work. To make the most of your time, we recommend bringing some sketches or reference images of designs you'd like to recreate or be inspired by.

How is the course delivered and assessed?
Through hands on lessons and creative demonstrations in sessions. You will be supported by the tutor in creating your own ideas and provided ideas to follow and adapt.
