About the course

Tailored to Teach is a Skills Bootcamp aimed at adults aged 19+ who are interested in gaining employment within the FE teaching sector. You will learn the skills, knowledge, and behaviours needed to be a successful and inspiring lecturer, taking learners through from their initial inductions to their final assessments and progressions. You will learn the different theories and methodologies behind teaching practices, the roles and responsibilities of a teacher/trainer, inclusive teaching and learning approaches, and assessment principles. You will achieve a Level 3 Award in Education and Training upon completion. If you are looking to enter the FE teaching profession and would like to learn more, this is the Skills Bootcamp for you!

What can I do next
This Skills Bootcamp and the embedded qualification will enable you to seek employment in a teaching/training role within an FE College. We will help and support you with this progression, and send you live vacancies that may be suitable for your area of specialism. Skills Bootcamps are Government funded programmes, aimed at adults upskilling. For this Skills Bootcamp, you must be: Aged 19+ Working, or intending to work, in the WECA region Not have attended a Skills Bootcamp this financial year Be actively seeking employment in the FE sector.
