How is the course delivered and assessed?
Our course combines theoretical knowledge with practical insights, interactive learning sessions, and real-world case studies to develop or further your skills in the understanding and application of elicitation, analysis and management of requirements. Studying at SGS College connects you with experienced lecturers, networking opportunities, and the potential to advance your careers. This course is taught over 8 weeks by a blended learning approach that includes face-to-face learning, one-to-one tutorials, and online study. By the end of your course you will need to demonstrate your Requirements Engineering knowledge with a comprehensive assessment featuring 40 multiple-choice questions, all to be completed within a 60-minute timeframe. This exam is designed to test your understanding of key Requirements Engineering concepts, ensuring you're well-equipped to apply Requirements Engineering principles in real-world scenarios.
What do I need to join (Entry Requirements)
To join the course, you require a good level of Maths and English. You need to have an interest in the topics discussed. You don’t need any prior knowledge or experience on the subject, however you will be expected to have a basic working knowledge of IT. A successful interview and assessment will be required before you are confirmed onto the course. This course is suitable for those in a role of business analysts, project managers, systems analysts, product owners, product managers and those involved in business change processes and/or projects. As well as if if you are wanting to gain an understanding of the role that business, customer and requirements play within professional business contexts.
