Entry requirements
This course is an excellent entry point for individuals beginning their studies into accountancy/finance —ideal for first steps into their careers, professionals re-entering the workforce, or those seeking to refresh their knowledge after a study break.
As an apprentice, you will need to be register with the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) for your student membership.
If you haven’t yet achieved a Level 2 qualification in Maths or English (or an equivalent), we provide free Functional Skills lessons alongside your apprenticeship to help you reach this important milestone. These sessions are designed to build confidence and strengthen your core skills, making you even more employable. For apprentices under 19, these lessons are a mandatory part of your journey ensuring you have a level 2 in Maths and/or English by the end of your programme.
