    Your progress will be assessed on the job, so you can gain a qualification while doing your day-to-day role. Assessment methods include:

    • Workplace observations by your assessor
    • Professional discussions
    • Written tasks such as reflective accounts, projects, or assignments
    • You’ll also have access to our Smart Assessor online portal and receive ongoing support from your dedicated assessor.
    What do I need to join

    To enrol, you must:

    • Be 19 or older
    • Work in adult care for 16+ hours per week
    • Have completed the Care Certificate (ideally Level 2 accredited) OR
    • Have 6+ months’ experience in care and a Level 2 care-related qualification

    You must be working in the adult care sector as the course requires you to demonstrate competence in real-life practice.
