About the course

Whether you are new to clay or have already experimented with it, this session is the perfect opportunity to get creative in a friendly and positive environment. On this half day taster session you will get the chance to go through the steps of hand-building with clay with expert help from the tutor to help you create a mug, decorate and colour it with slips. After the session we will leave to dry, fire it, glaze over with a transparent glaze and fire it again before you can come pick it up. This will make them food and dishwasher safe.

How is the course delivered and assessed?
Through hands creative demonstrations in the session. You will be supported by the tutor in creating your own ideas and provided ideas to follow and adapt.
What do I need to join (Entry Requirements)
There are no specific entry requirements for this course, just an interest in the subject and enthusiasm to learn.
