Explore the power of writing as a tool for self-discovery, reflection, and creative renewal. This welcoming 10-week course invites you to slow down, reconnect with your senses, and find your voice through gentle creative writing practices. Whether you're looking to reduce stress, reignite your creativity, or explore writing for the first time, this course offers a calm and supportive space to begin or deepen your journey.

Course content
You will learn how to use sensory prompts to ground your writing in the present moment, develop awareness of the body and environment, and cultivate more vivid, authentic expression. Weekly themes will guide you through personal storytelling, reflective journaling, and poetic exploration—all designed to nurture emotional wellbeing and creative confidence.
How is the course delivered and assessed?
This in-person course is tutor-led and runs over 10 weeks. Each session includes guided writing exercises, group discussion, and optional sharing. There are no formal assessments; your growth as a writer and individual is the focus. All experience levels are welcome.
About the tutor
