When struggling rock guitarist Dewey Finn poses as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school, he expects an easy pay packet. Instead, he discovers that his straight-A students have hidden musical talents. Determined to relive his rock-and-roll dreams, Dewey secretly transforms the class into an incredible band and sets his sights on winning the legendary Battle of the Bands.
