This foundation apprenticeship provides an introduction to the construction industry, focusing on finishing trades such as painting and decorating, wall tiling and floor laying. Apprentices will develop essential practical skills and knowledge through a combination of on-the-job training and classroom learning, helping them gain confidence in a real working environment. Apprentices will learn how to work safely and efficiently, use tools and materials correctly, and support construction projects across a range of settings, from domestic homes to large commercial developments.
The programme also builds key employability skills, including communication, teamwork and problem-solving, to prepare you for the workplace. On completion, apprentices will have a strong foundation to progress into employment or move on to a full Level 2 or Level 3 apprenticeship in a specialist construction trade.
To apply, visit our vacancies webpage and search for current vacancies that match your interests. If you’re not quite ready to apply or an employer wanting to learn how to get involved, simply complete our quick enquiry form or reach out to us directly by email via [email protected], we’re here to help every step of the way.
