Lecturer/Assessor in Education

Role Information:

Location: Filton Campus
FTE Salary: Up to £39.291.00 (Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience)
Actual Salary: Up to £23,574.50
Contract Type: Permanent, Part time

Working Hours: 22.2 hours per week

 

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality teaching across T Level Education & Early Years (Assisting Teaching) and Early Years Practitioner programmes
  • Plan engaging lessons and adapt teaching to meet diverse learner needs
  • Assess learner work, provide feedback, and monitor progress against targets
  • Support learners’ development, behaviour, and progression opportunities
  • Prepare students for assessments and work-based learning requirements
  • Liaise with employers and support T Level industry placements
  • Maintain accurate records and meet awarding body and quality standards
  • Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement


Beneficial Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree in Education or Early Years
  • Teaching qualification
  • Experience in further education in Early Years/Assisting Teaching
  • Experience Assessing in Education and Early Years
