About the course

This course prepares you for a role as a People Professional, essential in organisations of any size and sector. In smaller companies, the role may have a broader scope, covering activities like attracting, recruiting, developing, and retaining talent, managing payroll and benefits, supporting employee relations, and ensuring compliance with employment law. Your primary objective will be to support the business in meeting its strategic goals through effective people management. You will provide advice, coaching, and challenge to business practices, working on various projects and tasks. Daily interactions will involve HR colleagues, internal stakeholders, and external partners. Key skills include communication, influence, negotiation, and evidence-based decision-making. Responsibilities include developing and implementing people strategies, using data to identify trends, updating policies, and staying current with industry trends and legislative changes.

Maths & English
This apprenticeship requires learners to achieve maths and English at Level 2. At interview, we will carry out an assessment to determine current literacy and numeracy levels. We will take account of any support needs in determining the suitability of learners for this apprenticeship.
