Your tutor will also conduct observations during their visits to your workplace. No formal qualification requirements are needed to enroll in this course, making it accessible to individuals from diverse backgrounds. However, it's essential to note that the government promotes proficiency in English, Maths, and Information Communication Technology (ICT) for all learners. It is recommended that you strive to achieve a Level 2 proficiency in these subjects by the end of your qualification. If you don't already possess this level of proficiency, supplementary courses will be available alongside the main qualification.
For those not currently employed in a school, securing a work placement at a primary or secondary school is necessary for a minimum of 6 hours a week. It's your responsibility to discuss the requirements for a current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check with your chosen school. By completing the Level 2 Certificate, you'll compile a portfolio showcasing your work and achievements, ensuring a minimum of 30 credits.
Elevate your career prospects, gain valuable skills, and make a lasting impact in the lives of teachers and learners.
