The T Level Foundation year will help learners develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours across five key areas to prepare learners for their chosen T Level subject at Level 3.

These key areas are:

• Industry-relevant technical knowledge and skills
• Knowledge and skills for the workplace
• Positive attitude and behaviours
• Skills for successful study
• English, maths, and digital skills

Learners will need to achieve 4 Grade 4s at GCSE, which must include English Language and also have at least a Grade 3 in maths

As part of our committment to providing opportunties for learners to continue to develop and practice both their literacy and numeracy skills, opportunities to use different skills and techniques in both English and maths will be provided in sessions.

For learners with a GCSE Grade 3 in maths, then they will be enrolled on a GCSE maths qualification in order to support working towards achieving Grade 4.
