The Gateway Level 2 Award in Cybersecurity is designed for learners who want to build on their existing knowledge and develop a deeper understanding of how digital systems and data are protected. It is ideal for learners progressing from Level 1 or those with equivalent foundational experience who are considering further study or a future career in IT or cybersecurity.

  • Practical workshops in modern, fully equipped IT suites based at our Filton campus

  • Supported independent study

Assessment is through a Portfolio of Evidence, based on practical tasks and projects.

What do I need to join
  • Completion of the Level 1 Award in Cybersecurity, or
  • The ability to demonstrate equivalent foundational knowledge of cybersecurity and digital technologies
