About the course

Learn how to create dynamic compositions based on nature. Using painting and drawing techniques you will be tutored to respond to nature and sense of place, with a focus on light, colour and scale. You will be working both in the studio and on location. Making a series of observed studies on location in Stratford Park and taking inspiration from your own photographs you will be guided to develop your painterly compositions further in the studio, using various approaches such as collage and printmaking as methods of inquiry.
