About the course
This two year course is aimed at learners aged 16-18 years old who wish to work in any sector In an administrative or managerial role. The course on completion is equivalent to three A levels. The core content of the course will allow you to gain knowledge, behaviours and practical skills to prepare you for working in any sectors of the business industry.
Course content
The qualification will help you gain an understanding of the Management and Administration sector, and you will cover topics such as:
- Contexts that organisations operate and manage in.
- Key people and stakeholders that support business operations.
- Quality and compliance standards that affect business operations.
- Financial contexts that organisations operate within.
- Concepts of project and change management.
You will have the choice of studying one standalone occupational specialism as listed below.

What do I need to join
To join the course you must have 5 GCSEs at grade 5 or above to include Maths and English Language
What can I do next
On completion of your course you can go onto working within any business industry sector in an administrative role such as a civil service officer, medical secretary or progess into higher education.
